Betty Hart, you will be missed…

Betty Hart, long time supporter of the 4th of July Parade, recently passed away. The Association sends its sincere condolences to her family.  Her request was that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the Arlington 4th of July Association. We are truly grateful for Betty’s request.  Donation may be mailed to the Association, in memory of Betty Hart, to Arlington 4th of July Association, PO Box 1776, Arlington, TX 76004.

    My mom, Betty Hart, was truly proud of her work with the Association from the early 1970s to the early 2000s. She served as the president at one time, and was often in charge of finding judges for all of the categories of entries. I am so glad that the Association is still going strong. Thank you for posting this notice about Mom and you even had a picture of her on this page in your parade gallery!
